Hester Forde has over 30 years gardening experience. Her experience is vast; through her garden at Coosheen Garden in County Cork, her stall at ISNA plant fairs, the organisation of the annual Snowdrop Gala, her secretarial work for the Cork Alpine Hardy Plant Society, and her inspiring gardening lectures, Hester has built a reputation as one of Cork's finest plants people. She also writes for the Irish Garden magazine and is a board member of the RHSI. In her professional career, she was a teacher for over 35 years.

Hester’s insatiable appetite for collecting plants makes this a must-see garden for the plant enthusiast. A series of raised beds and troughs are home to rare and unusual smaller perennials, alpines and bulbs.
